South Pasadena, Fl. was once known as Coreytown. However, in 1951 the town was dissolved due the shortage of freeholders to turn out for elections. In 1955 the city of South Pasadena was incorporated with 150 residents and a meeting hall.

Today, South Pasadena is the home to less than 6,000 residents, many single family homes, townhouses and an enormous amount of waterfront properties.
